3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide our services.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that:

  • You own or have the right to share the content
  • The content does not infringe any third-party rights
  • The content does not violate any laws or regulations
  • The content is accurate and not misleading

4.3 Academic Integrity

You agree to maintain academic integrity in all content. Plagiarism, misrepresentation of work, or falsification of credentials is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Scrape or collect data without permission

6. Verification and Approvals

Faculty and industry users may verify or approve student work. Such verification represents their professional judgment and does not constitute a guarantee by Pezala of the quality, accuracy, or authenticity of the work.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Pezala and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without permission.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but certain provisions of these Terms survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS OR CONTENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEZALA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pezala and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
